I think a lot about why I take photos and what my end goal is. What does success look like? What will make me happy? Where do I want to live? Etc… I’m still looking for answers - but one constant in my photo career is that it feels great seeing physical copies of my photos. I’ve been a photographer for over 10 years now and whether it’s seeing my photos on billboards, in magazines, published in books, or used as concert backdrops… it feels like the final natural step of the creation process. I don’t want only a digital footprint. I want to contribute to the in-person, human experience. So, I’m going to start curating more framed photo prints focusing on the Cowboy and Southwestern aesthetic. Some of these items have homes already. Some don’t. These aren’t perfect… they’re mostly old frames found around town, but I love the end product nonetheless. I’m excited about what’s to come and the direction I’m heading, regardless of my success.. and that’s a pretty good feeling. I think it’s been some time since I’ve felt that way. Thank you all for the consistent support, and if you know anyone looking for wall art, send them my way 📸 Stay tuned for more on each image!
